I entered the business world in the early 1970’s when IBM was known around the world for its business values – the most memorable of which for me was “Respect for the individual.” Neither Thomas J. Watson Sr. nor Thomas J. Watson Jr. coined this phrase, but these two men seared it into the IBM vocabulary during their combined tenures (1914-1971) as head of the company. Even as only a customer, observer, and admirer of IBM, I found that reading or hearing these words always warmed my soul. Still does. But the phrase was massaged out of IBM’s official rhetoric in the early 2000s when they “redefined their values for the 21st century.” In a culture of abortion, I guess it does ring a little hollow.

I haven’t published to this mailing list in at least a couple of years…maybe more. It seems time to start back. I want to use it to write and publish a book in serial form during 2026: The Biblical Case for the One True God. (I haven’t changed my views since my previous books – just deepened them.)
