Here are the individual word counts, and how they alone – not counting essays and other resources – total to over a million words.
- The Duty of a Man – DM – Estimated 12,000
- The Biblical Case for the Second Coming as Accomplished Fact – BCSCAF – 31,508
- The Biblical Case for Everyone Going to Heaven – BCEGH – 60, 264
- The Implications of Everyone Going to Heaven – IEGH – 33,941
- Apostolic Apologetics – AA – 37,930
- The New Testament From a Distance – NTFD – 49,948
- The Honor of Marriage – THOM – 49,745
- The Ten Commandments According to Jesus – TC – 28,431
- A One-Year Daily Devotional to Jesus Christ – ONE-YEAR DAILY – 170,660
- 300 Reasons to Worship Christ and Not a Trinity – 300 REASONS – 58,990
- Audio Bible Reading Companion – AUDIO BIBLE READING COMPANION – ?
- Bible Study Notes (BSN) – BSN – 583,810+ (as of 7/28/23)
- This book is an appendix to The Duty of a Man, but has a separate word count. This word count is only the BSN for the 66 Bible books. All the other pages (e.g. glossary and sub-pages) cannot be easily counted, for reasons given below. Those uncounted pages would probably add up to 50,000 to 100,000 at present, but much more in the future as I keep adding to BSN. (DM has a targeted word count of only 12,000 because that book is introductory to the entire library I want it to be the easiest and quickest to read.)
The total number of words for these 12 books, fully accessible through this site, is well over (the emphasis is explained below) 1,105,227 (521,417 + 583,810).
Notes:
- The nine books numbered 2-10 above total 521,417 words.
- There is no word count for book number 11 since it is only in audio form.
- BSN has 583,810 for the commentary on the Bible’s 66 books alone, not counting the many other pages.
- Books 1 and 12…
- …are resident on this site hosted by WordPress.com, while the others are linked here but resident on Box.com (for ease of administration and cost)
- …have no word counts because the WordPress.com software cannot distinguish the two books, nor, as far as I know, is there any function in the software to count the words on the entire site. Word counts are given for individual pages, which is why I have a word count for the 66 Bible book commentaries because it’s one (often very, very long) page per book. And I took this count July 28, 2023 when I finished the 66 books. This is why the total count above emphasizes “well over.”
I expect the total word count for the site to increase to over two or three million before I die. This is because I will be adding to Bible Study Notes, writing more essays, and adding other resources. However, I do not plan on writing any new books. Nor do I plan on keeping up with the total word count. I just want to spend the remainder of my life enhancing the existing content, making it easier to access and digest, and answering questions from readers.
