BSN: Demonic Identifications of Jesus

Evil spirits saw Jesus of Nazareth from a different vantage point than human beings (Mk 8:27-29). Here are some of the reactions they had to Him.

Mt 4:3 – (reacting to the “voice out of the heavens” in Mt 3:16-17) “If You are the Son of God…”
Mk 4:6 – “If You are the Son of God…”
Mk 1:24 – “…I know who You are–the Holy One of God!”
Mk 1:34 – …and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.
Mk 3:11 – “You are the Son of God!”
Mk 5:7 – “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!”
Lk 4:41 – Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.
Lk 8:28 – …”What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me.”
