- Jn 12:45 – “He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me.” (Jesus)
- Jn 14:7 – “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” (Jesus)
- Jn 14:9 – …”Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” (Jesus)
- Phil 2:6 – “…although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,” (the apostle Paul)
- Col 1:15 – “He is the image of the invisible God…” (the apostle Paul)
- Heb 1:3 – “…He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature…” (the apostle Paul)
- As the “image” or “likeness” of God, Jesus would rightly be the second or “last” Adam (1 Cor 15:45 below), and thus a revelation of God. That is, Adam is a type of Christ (see more about Adam in the list of “Types” in Identifiers of Jesus Christ.
- Lk 3:23-38 When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, the son of Eli…the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
- Rom 5:14 – “… Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.”
- 1 Cor 15:22 – For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
- 1 Cor 15:45 – …”The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
- Gen 1:26 – Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness…
- Gen 1:27 – God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him…
- Gen 5:1 – This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.
