BSN: Josephus

Flavius Josephus (37-100 AD) was a Roman-Jewish historian and military leader.
His major works were The Antiquities of the Jews and The War of the Jews.
Josephus wrote in the time of the apostles and slightly beyond – that is, when Roman interest in Christianity and its history became widespread.
