In Luke 24:26, Jesus said that Messiah’s sufferings preceded His glory. That glory was bestowed on Him in two stages that we can call the beginning and the end. Jesus identified these two stages at His trial: seated at the right hand of God and coming in glory (Mt 26:63-64; Mk 14:61-62).
