BSN: PDT, FDT, ODT

There’s nothing special or sacred about the nomenclature below. Call these times whatever you wish, but, by all means, engage in them!

  • PDT = Personal Devotional Time
    • This is time an individual devotes to the Lord at least daily.
    • It consists of Bible reading (that is, the word of God) and prayer.
  • FDT = Family Devotional Time
    • Same as above except involving the nuclear family instead of an individual.
  • ODT = Other Devotional Time
    • Same as above except…
      • …involving some group other than the nuclear family. This could be extended family, neighborhood group, school group, workplace group, or other.
      • …does not need to be daily. Can be any time, any place – scheduled or not.
