Jesus Christ as God
(Jesus as God)

Isaiah 9:6 states boldly that the promised son would be God and Father, but revelation is progressive like the rising of the sun in Proverbs 4:18; and there is timing involved in execution as well as it revelation. Exodus 33:17-23 illustrates that this revelation would be received after the fact, not in the moment. It’s not reasonable for us to expect either the Old Testament or New Testament to come right out and say that “Jesus is God” – but, if we pay close attention, it might as well be shouting the point.
