Preface

This book defines 1) the general duty that every 21st-century human being owes to God, and 2) the specific additional duty that a grown male owes Him. The word “man” in the book’s title is therefore to be understood in both these senses.

If you’re an average reader, an hour or less is all it will take you to read this book. It distills for you important and practical truths it took me a lifetime to learn. It’s free and fully accessible through this website. I have nothing to sell you, no advertising, nor do I accept donations; and there’s no organization for you to join – not even a mailing list, so I’m not after your personal information either. I’m retired and publish the book as a website because that’s the most affordable way I have of communicating to the maximum number of readers.

Oh, and I’m not going to be encouraging you to go to church either. God has better things for you to do with your time. Besides, He doesn’t want some of your time; He wants all of it. How is that possible, practical, or even desirable? You may be surprised.
