Description: The Second Coming of Jesus Christ – also known as the coming of the kingdom of God – marked the transition from the church age to the eternal kingdom age. There has only ever been one true church – the one led by the apostles in the 1st century A.D. Like a baby in the womb, it preceded the birth of the kingdom when Jesus came again. He came the first time as a man, and the second as God. The one true church was a subset of humanity; through the kingdom of God, Jesus Christ relates to all men.
